Artwise
My curiosity with the playful process of materials and mark making lays the foundation for my work. I open the door to my memories and to what is currently occupying my brain space. I tune in to what is trying to emerge and become a willing partner as animals, birds and recognizable forms become visible. In the end, I step back and hope to see a bit of an unspoken story staring back at me…a space that invites the viewer to bring their own memories and experiences to the work as well.

Join My Restorative Painting Classes
These classes have become a place for us to set personal artistic goals, learn or review skills (such as composition, color, basic drawing, etc.) and then apply these to our personal projects…
Every Sunday, from 10a to 1pm, I teach a Restorative Painting Class at Green Heiress Retreats in Aspinwall. It’s been an incredible experience for me, as well as the participants, as we relax and encourage one another as well as experiment and add more tools to our artistic toolbox. If interested, add code FRIEND to checkout when you follow the link above to purchase a class. This will get you 15% off your class! I would love to see you all there.

“I’m glad I came across your work, it spoke to my soul…[I] really liked it’s essence. There is a lightness about it, very healing.”

“Whenever I first see a piece, I am immediately drawn in by the shapes, squiggles...patterns and color combinations. It feels whimsical at first...but deliberate. I'm immediately taken to places in my past...childhood in many instances. I'm reminded of something that probably no longer exists...paper dolls. I love the layers and patterns in your pieces and my eyes are in constant movement looking for hidden clues or memories...looking for MY familiar. It's as if I have actually been there before.”
